UHPC EDUCATION TERMS OF SERVICE

Last Updated: 01/01/2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the UHPC Education platform, including all courses, curriculum, assessments, certificates, and related content provided through education.uhp.network and any associated domains (collectively, the “Platform”).
By purchasing, enrolling in, accessing, or using any course or content on this Platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Platform.

1. Acceptance of Terms

Your enrollment in any course, purchase of any educational product, or use of the Platform constitutes your acceptance of these Terms in full. These Terms apply to all users, including students, course participants, certificate holders, and certification candidates.
These Terms operate in conjunction with the Terms of Service of the UHP Network and RECON programs, which govern access to community spaces, mentorship, and additional educational content. Where applicable, those terms are incorporated by reference.

2. Scope and Purpose of Educational Services

All content provided through the Platform is for educational purposes only. The UHPC Certification Curriculum teaches principles, reasoning frameworks, and conceptual models related to human movement, health, and performance.
Nothing on this Platform constitutes medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or a guarantee of outcomes. You are solely responsible for determining how and whether any information applies to your professional practice, credentials, or legal scope of work.

3. Assumption of Risk and Waiver of Liability

Participation in the UHPC Certification Curriculum and application of any information provided through the Platform involves inherent risk. By enrolling in a course or accessing content, you acknowledge and agree that you voluntarily assume full responsibility for all risks associated with the interpretation and application of the material.
You understand and agree that the organization does not supervise, direct, or control how course concepts are applied in real-world settings. You are solely responsible for all professional decisions, actions, and outcomes involving yourself, clients, patients, athletes, or any other individuals.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, you hereby release, waive, discharge, and hold harmless the organization, its owners, instructors, contributors, affiliates, partners, and representatives from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, injuries, losses, costs, or expenses of any kind arising from or related to the use or misuse of course content. This includes, without limitation, claims related to physical injury, medical complications, financial loss, professional consequences, or harm to self or others.
Nothing in the curriculum replaces professional judgment, licensure requirements, or legal obligations applicable to your profession. You agree to act within the scope of your credentials, training, and applicable laws at all times.

4. Relationship to the UHP Network

The UHPC Education Platform is part of a broader educational ecosystem that includes the UHP Network.
The Certification Curriculum provides structured, course-based education. The UHP Network provides ongoing mentorship, discussion, updates, and refinement through UHP+ membership. These platforms operate in parallel and are governed by separate but related terms.
Continued access to certain course materials after defined access periods is contingent upon maintaining an active UHP+ membership.

5. Course Access and Duration

Each course purchased on the Platform includes six (6) months of access, beginning at enrollment or first access, whichever occurs first.

After this period:

  • Course content access ends unless an active UHP+ membership is maintained.

  • Cancellation or lapse of UHP+ results in immediate removal of course access.

  • Access periods do not stack, pause, or reset.

  • Expired access is not restored.

6. Certificates of Completion vs UHPC Certification

Certain courses may issue Certificates of Completion for CEU or documentation purposes.

Certificates of Completion:

  • Confirm completion of a specific course only

  • Do not confer UHPC Practitioner status

  • Do not authorize teaching, mentoring, or representation of the UHPC Model

UHPC Practitioner Certification
is a separate designation that:

  • Requires completion of the full curriculum and required assessments

  • Is not guaranteed by enrollment or course completion

  • Is awarded solely at the organization’s discretion

  • May be revoked independently of course completion certificates

7. Exams, Assessments, and Certification

Enrollment does not guarantee certification. Exam structure, attempts, and requirements may change and are communicated at the time of assessment.
LearnWorlds courses are delivered online. A future capstone or in-person component may be required for full certification and will be governed by separate terms.

8. Payments, Pricing, and Refunds

Refunds are considered case by case and, if granted, will be reduced by any transaction or processing fees incurred. No refunds will be issued for violations of these Terms.

9. Intellectual Property, Model Integrity, and Authorized Use

All content made available through the UHPC Education Platform, the UHP Network, and any related programs including but not limited to the UHPC Certification Curriculum and RECON, is the exclusive intellectual property of the organization and its originator(s). This includes, without limitation, all videos, written materials, presentations, diagrams, terminology, frameworks, conceptual models, assessment structures, instructional methods, sequencing, language, and any derivative works thereof.

The Unified Health & Performance Continuum (UHPC) Model is a coherent, integrated framework. Its value and effectiveness depend on being taught, learned, and applied as a whole. Extracting isolated elements, renaming concepts, reordering principles, or teaching partial interpretations outside of their intended context constitutes misuse of the intellectual property and a material breach of these Terms.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the content solely for your own personal education and professional development. This license does not grant you any ownership rights, teaching rights, sublicensing rights, or authority to represent, certify, or instruct others in the UHPC Model.

Without explicit written authorization, you may not:

  • Copy, record, reproduce, distribute, or publicly display any content

  • Share login credentials or allow third-party access

  • Teach, mentor, coach, or consult using the UHPC Model as a paid or unpaid offering

  • Repackage, rename, rebrand, or reframe UHPC concepts under different terminology

  • Create derivative models, courses, certifications, or educational materials based on UHPC content

  • Represent UHPC principles as your own original work

  • Imply endorsement, affiliation, or authorization where none exists

Misrepresentation includes, but is not limited to, claiming to be “UHPC trained,” “UHPC certified,” or similar language in a way that suggests authority, endorsement, or certification beyond what has been formally granted.

The organization actively monitors for misuse, misrepresentation, and unauthorized teaching of the UHPC Model. Violations may result in immediate termination of access, revocation of certificates or certification, permanent bans from all related platforms, public announcement of removal, reporting to employers, licensing boards, professional organizations, and pursuit of legal remedies where appropriate. No refunds will be issued in cases of intellectual property violations.

These protections exist not only to safeguard intellectual property, but to preserve the clarity, safety, and effectiveness of the model for practitioners, clients, and patients. Fragmented or misapplied versions of the UHPC Model undermine outcomes and violate the responsibility owed to those receiving care.

These Terms are governed by the intellectual property and copyright laws of the United States of America.

10. Prohibited Conduct, Account Security, and Monitoring

Access to the UHPC Education Platform is granted on an individual, single-user basis, unless a specific team or group license has been purchased and explicitly authorized in writing. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

The following conduct is strictly prohibited and constitutes a material breach of these Terms:

  • Sharing your login credentials with any other individual, including colleagues, staff members, students, employees, or contractors.

  • Allowing others to view course content through your account, whether in person, remotely, or via screen sharing.

  • Recording, downloading, capturing, or reproducing course videos, audio, presentations, slides, or other materials for any purpose.

  • Distributing or sharing course content with colleagues, staff, or teams outside of an authorized group or team license.

  • Creating internal libraries, shared folders, or training resources using UHPC course materials.

  • Circumventing access controls, time limits, or platform restrictions.

  • Using multiple accounts to bypass access limitations.

  • Misrepresenting individual access as organizational or team access.

The Platform uses technical measures to monitor account activity, including but not limited to login locations, device usage, session behavior, and access patterns. Unauthorized sharing or recording will be detected, even if done discreetly or with trusted colleagues.

Claims that content was shared “for educational purposes,” “internally,” or “to help others” do not excuse violations. Unauthorized distribution undermines the integrity of the curriculum, violates intellectual property protections, and harms the learning community.

Any violation of this section may result in:

  • Immediate termination of account access without refund.

  • Revocation of course completion certificates and UHPC certification, if applicable.

  • Permanent ban from all UHPC-related platforms

  • Legal action where warranted.

11. Enforcement, Revocation, and Reporting

Violations may result in immediate termination of access, revocation of certification, permanent bans, public announcement of removal, reporting to employers or licensing boards, and legal action. No refunds will be issued.

12. Model Evolution and Content Changes

The UHPC Model evolves continuously. Older versions are not authoritative. Content may change without obligation to provide updates free of charge. Continued participation is required to remain current.
