— About Bill Hartman
He spent 35 years figuring this out so you don’t have to.
Physical therapist. Performance coach. Clinical instructor. Co-founder of Indianapolis Fitness and Sports Training. Thirty-five years working across every environment in health and performance, from spine clinics and home care to professional athletes and Division 1 performance staffs.
Before any of that became a curriculum, it was a career built on solving the cases that stayed stuck. Persistent pain after successful rehab. Performance plateaus that training adjustments could not fix. Return-to-play stalls that nobody had a clear answer for. Bill became the person other practitioners called because his reasoning held up when theirs ran out.
That reasoning is now teachable. That is what this curriculum is.

-About the UHPC Model
Creating the Model
The UHPC Model is the product of more than three decades of clinical work. Formalized in 2016 and first taught publicly in 2018, it has been tested and refined across more than 25 iterations since. The principles have not changed. The application has broadened, the language has refined, and the model continues to develop through the practitioners working inside the UHP Network every week.
